What do we do

The Partnership is driving forward action to sustain prosperity and quality of life and to enhance the confidence of public and private investors. 

The first task was to develop a twenty-year vision for the sub-region, and then supporting strategies and action plans.  

The development of these strategies and action plans and their implementation is supported and informed by Partnership Joint Committees and Boards. These are: 

• Joint Transport Executive Committee
• Joint Waste Management Committee
• Planning, Housing and Communities Board
• Skills & Competitiveness Board.

There is also a Joint Scrutiny Committee which scrutinises the work of the whole Partnership.
