About the West of England

The map below shows the West of England sub-region, which covers the area of the four unitary authorities: Bath & North East Somerset ; Bristol ; North Somerset and South Gloucestershire.  This includes the urban centres of Bristol, Bath and Weston-super-Mare. The sub-region has an enviable track record in innovation, creativity and connectivity, and an outstanding strategic location. Over the last ten years, the area's population has grown faster than the UK average to more than one million people.
