The Regional Funding Allocation in 2006 prioritised £71 million for the investigation of 3 bus based rapid transit routes in the sub region running between Ashton Vale and Emerson's Green, Hengrove and the North Fringe, and Bath to Cribbs Causeway.

We are currently investigating route options for the first phase of this network running from Ashton Vale to Temple Meads via Bristol City Centre.

It is expected a major scheme bid will be sumbitted to the DfT by the end of 2008.
